European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is a European Union programme aimed at reducing economic and social inequalities between its regions by promoting business development and internationalisation. Proyecto Español has received a grant managed by IVACE, within the framework of this programme, to carry out key actions within its expansion plan in international markets.
The grant, worth EUR 11,958.38 (pending review and receipt), supports marketing and promotional activities in strategic regions, facilitating the school’s growth in Asian and Northern European markets.
Proyecto Español Internationalization Plan
Proyecto Español is a Spanish school for foreigners, whose clients hire mostly from their countries of origin. Therefore, it is essential to use effective marketing strategies to expand its global reach.
The school’s internationalization plan has two main objectives:
- Consolidate and expand its presence in Europe.
- Enter emerging markets such as Russia and Asia, where interest in learning Spanish is growing, but which present language, distance and resource barriers.
Key actions carried out between 2017 and 2018:
- Expansion of the network of collaborating agencies.
- Participation in international fairs to promote the courses.
- Advertising on Google Ads, Facebook and specialized magazines.
- Postal mailings directed to your target audience.
ERDF funds have contributed to covering the following costs:
- Design of an international marketing plan.
- Creation and adaptation of the website and promotional materials.
- Accommodation and travel expenses to the countries included in the promotion plan.
- Participation in promotional activities in foreign markets.
Thanks to these actions, Proyecto Español continues to advance in its goal of positioning itself as a leading school in learning Spanish for foreigners.
